These veggies are fresh from the garden!
ABOVE, This Roasted Vegetable Medley is mostly from my gardens.
There are four kinds of Carrot: Purple, Yellow, Orange and White. Many types of Potato, Red Bliss, Red Thumb, White, Yukon Gold, and A Purple Peruvian Potato. I picked a few kinds of Onion: Ruby Red, Red Long, White Sweet Spanish, Utah Yellow, and Pompeii White. Fresh Celery, some Red and Orange Pepper, and some olive oil make up the recipe, as well as some fresh garlic seasoning.

I tend to cook the steak tips with a Montreal Steak Seasoning: Black and Red peppercorns, coarse sea salt, dried garlic, dill seed, onion powder, coriander seeds, mustard seed. I grind my own. incidentally, it is a Romanian recipe, brought to the New World, by Romanian Immigrants in the Montreal Canada area. It comes from their version of Pastrami, which comes from the Romanian pastramă (the ancestor of pastrami)!
Gardening To DO:
- At home, Harvest 2nd Potato Grow Bag, replant immediately (3rd will wait for a week)
- divide the main Papou's Mint and pot up some more!
I will bring some down here, to Cape Cod, and let it grow - thin carrot, thin some more onion
- Pick a ton of Raspberry each day! Last year, once I started, it was almost a pint of Raspberry each day (half to freezer for later jelly and jam making)!
