I had a thread today saying that "I'm about to fall into a cheat meal trap once again," and that's exactly what happened. Yesterday, I shared some photos I took in Kaldovo, Serbia, with a couple of friends. One of them confessed that he couldn't help but salivate just by looking at the food we had there.
Today, he and some other friends came to town for a wedding, and we met up. However, none of them wanted to hang out in town, so we decided to go to Serbia because they all wanted to try pleskavica, which is the Serbian version of a burger.
While yesterday I was in a bit of a rush, today we stayed at the restaurant for a while. After we finished eating, we took a short stroll around town to burn off some of those extra calories we consumed in just one meal.
There was a rainstorm this afternoon, but it eventually stopped, and the weather became really nice. So, spending time outside was truly enjoyable. During this short escapade, I took some more photos, and I thought it would be nice to share them with you.
Oh, and as a funny side story, while Kladovo has once again become a "foodie hot spot" for us gourmands, my phone was used as a hot spot today at the restaurant cuz I was the only one who had access to WI-FI. Damn smartphones, so hard to live without an internet connection these days.
