"Alcohol is injurious to health".

We might have come across this lines many a times in our life. Infact these has been widely circulated at many places to create awareness among the people. Still many people sticks to their habbit of drinking alcohol and ignore the message everytime. In our country many state have banned the sell of alcohol. But those who are addicted to drinking find their own way of intoxication. Heavy drinking of alcohol can increase our risk of serious health problems, including certain cancers, liver disease, cardiovascular disease, intentional injuries, and accidental injury and death. It can also lead to dependence and addiction, especially in people who have depression or anxiety. But still it is one of the hot selling beverages for every occasion.

Once I learned that at time of scorching heat, when you are exhausted and feeling dozed off with thirst then try to find a bottle of chilled beer. It will act as a quick refreshment and you will find a new rhythm. I did tried it many a times and find it very effective. Though I am not a hard-core alcoholic, but ocassionaly tried beer for enjoyment and really find it quite effective in getting rid of constipation issue. It has lessor alcohol contents. So I never get way ward with my walk or speech. It is good. A little consumption now and then is no harm. However, drinking it regularly in huge quantity then Alcohol can affect the body in many ways, including the brain, heart, and liver.

Alcohol can disrupt the brain's communication pathways, which can change mood and behavior, and make it harder to think clearly and move with coordination. Drinking too much of alcohol over a long period of time or on a single occasion can damage the heart, causing problems such as cardiomyopathy, arrhythmias, stroke, and high blood pressure. Heavy drinking can take a toll on the liver, and can lead to a variety of problems and liver inflammations.

As we keep increasing the intake of alcohol, it keep showing different effects. Apart from intoxication and dehydration, a healthy person may experience the feeling of "wellbeing, talkative, relaxed, and more confident." as in the case with my beer intake. But as the intake is increased, we might see effect of "impaired judgment and movement, reduced inhibitions". A little more ad on will results in "Slurred speech, impaired balance, coordination, vision, and reflexes, unstable emotions, nausea, and vomiting". And finally, when it get wxcess, we might see dramatic turn of events. "Unable to walk without help, sleepy, difficulty breathing, memory loss". This is why a person should have regular check on their drinking quantity.

Excessive use of alcohol can have significant social and economic consequences. This is why at many places sale of alcohol is banned in India. Our constitution also state that the state should work to prohibit the consumption of intoxicating drinks and drugs that are harmful to health, except for medicinal purposes. excessive use of Alcohol can reduce inhibitions and lead people to behave in ways they normally wouldn't, such as committing crimes, behaving in an antisocial way, or doing something embarrassing. At the same time it has numerous economic consequences. Alcohol consumption can lead to direct costs, such as lower wages, lost employment opportunities, increased medical and legal expenses.

Overall, alcohol has many negative impacts than any positive outcomes. People once get addicted to drinking find it hard to get away. They keep on drinking and spoiling their life as well their families life. It is better to stop the sale of alcohol to general public. However, Alcohol is addictive, and over 57 million people in India are addicted. There are a few reasons why it may be difficult for states to ban alcohol sales :

  • Alcohol is a major source of revenue for both state and central governments.

  • Bans can lead to a thriving black market for contraband and bootlegging, which can be difficult to enforce.

  • Prohibition can also lead to the illicit trade of adulterated alcohol, which can be dangerous.

This is what makes banning alcohol little difficult. The sale of hard drugs are also very restricted still they make their way to differrnt gathering and causing serious threats to life and heslth. But being available costly they are are not freely available ad alcohol. This is why people found their comfort in addicting to alcohol. In my opinion better to restrict the use of alcohol as much as possible to lead a peaceful and heslthy life.

Peace!!

The considerations you took into account are very real, about drinking .... I don't usually drink, in fact I haven't even had a beer for months and months and I prefer it that way.
I am addicted to water and mate!

I think an electrolytic water like skunjbeen , naarial pani or water melon may provide a healthy alternative for beer to get refreshment in the scorching sun.

Well, I never had a beer so I don't know how it feels like. I just think if a healthier solution is there why to go for riskier ones.
