It's almost harvest day
I know , there is some hiver in ASEAN HIVE COMMUNITY is a farmer like me. When we are far from distance , but i believe the way we farm our paddy field is almost the same.
3 month ago , the land is nothing but water . After the land plowed by machinery , it was ready to be planted by the paddy's seed.
If you play farming games , you might familiar with the work that will be done during planting the seed . You have to make sure there is no pest plant that inhibit the growth of rice . The only different between game and this is you have to move you personal body to work these out.
WORKING , EAT , SLEEP & REPEAT
Like other job , you have to wake up early in the morning to prevent working under hot sun . Usually , they work as early as they could so the sun didnt burn them out . Then when the sun was at the middle of they day , they ll rest and eat.
Working as farmer is not easy as we think. It was hard work , to be work with mud , under the sun everyday. Plus you have to understand what the paddy need in other to gain maximum income at the end of the day. You can just fertilise them without checking what kind nutrition that they need. In same time , you have to battle with pest parasites everyday. So , you need to poison them in order to kill them.
AFTER EARLY 3 MONTH
After taking care the paddy in early 3 month , it start to give fruit . Now you have new enemy which is bird . This is another task to do where you have to drive away before they eat the paddy fruit by making some noise or moving the plastic rope all around the farm.
WAITING THE DAY TO HARVEST
Now , we only waiting a few days to harvest . After this few days , the paddy is ready to be harvest by the big machine.
It smell good. We ll see the harvest machine will help us to harvest the paddy. Stay tune for next post about our farm. See you in next post.
