March 27th ➡️ April 3rd, 2023Once again I am posting this challenge a wee bit late, but better late than never. Anyhow, this challenge is all about condiments, and if you have any condiments unique to your country, that is even better. I suspect fish sauce, soy sauce, chili sauce, and shrimp paste will be common items from all ASEAN Hivers' homes, but each local brand has a unique label and sometimes even a mascot.
Show us all your household condiments, whether homemade or store-bought, all kinds are welcome, and things like why you like each one, how each condiment changes the flavor of a dish, what they're made from, and anything else you find relevant. Alright I expect this will be an easy challenge for a wide range of folks to participate in, so please enjoy this one and I look forward to seeing all kinds of sauces, relishes, chutneys, pickles and other things.

Some of the entries for this challenge were a trip down memorty lane, especially when I read about GameBoys and NES. The Atari system was too expensive when it came out, but after the NES system was on the market for a few years, my family was able to afford one, and Mario Bros. changed my life. From the vintage to the modern, from phone-based to console and pc gaming, even card games and more, there was such a variety from you all, and I really enjoyed reading all the entries.

Among the many games I played in the past, Perfect World, a PC or computer game was the game that I had played for the longest period of time. I knew about this game when I got a free CD installer from a booth that promoting this game more than 15 years ago. It's a multi-player role-playing game (MMORPG) with many people logging in and playing game together. This game starts by choosing the character you wish to play. Afterward, we level it by grinding and doing tasks, and farming materials in certain areas of the game map and dungeon to upgrade our game character.

First up, let me just say that the generation who grew up with console games had one of the best childhoods. Those were the days when kids played outdoors often and still got to enjoy computer games. I really had fun playing the popular ones back then, those that are considered a classic now. Oh my goodness. The cheat code ☝️ ☝️ 👇 👇 👈 👉 👈 👉 is the best of them all. 😆 These days children won't experience the same joy anymore. Most of us have computers and mobile phones or tablets.

As someone who grew up with mostly male cousins, it was kind of expected that I'd enjoy whatever games they play as well. I enjoyed playing basketball, cars, toy guns, etc. more than dolls and kitchen sets. I know, this classification for toys based on gender was so common in the past, but I have been going against it ever since. haha When digital games became a thing, I and my cousins enjoyed playing several games on the Family Computer. I remember we often argue who would play Mario in Super Mario, or who would take player A or player B. Aside from Super Mario, we played Battle City, Contra, Sky Destroyer, and so on.
