My 2023 Garden Planning

Follow along as I take a few minutes and talk thru the process I use for Planning My 2023 Garden. Ordering Seeds, Last Average Frost Date, Calendar, planning it all out!

RareSeeds.com for more seeds from Baker's Creek

Each step, I give you tips and links to help your garden, as well.

Most of you know, I prefer locally grown food. It's healthier for my family, and for the planet. In fact, I prefer to grow my own food. I know what goes into my foods, and what chemicals are NOT in my food. Also, It cuts down on carbon emissions, less trucking to get fresh foods to my table.

And that makes me smile... better for the planet, better for my own family.

Patience is the hard part. Plus we have a couple of vacations planned that we have to work around or come up with someone to water for us 🤔 Have you had good experience with MIgardener? I haven't tried them.

so far, 3rd year buying from them. I mostly use MiGardener for my seeds. 2nd year for my wife using that for her Flower Seeds, too.

Saving this a resource for setting up my own garden. I looked into it, and a block from me there’s a garden and the food project has an even bigger plot down the way! I’ve yet to visit them, but you were right, there’s even spots within the city to set up my own lil’ thing.

Nice variety of onions there! I've never tried a black tomato before, looks fun 😁

I'm starting a small indoor garden when I get home, with hope to move a lot of it outside in the spring... think I mentioned that to you, because you gave me some tips for above ground boxes... Anyhow, hopefully we both will have a sustainable and tasty year 🤗

Oh wow, this is fabulous, Blue! I love that you have shared all the different varieties that you are going to plant and given some personal views on favourites too. It's all about the planning, clearly! I need to get stuck back into my garden this year. i bought an indoor mini 5 tier greenhouse and a growlight. If it looks like the setup is working, I'll buy a second growlight. I'm going to focus on just a few veg this yearand see how I go... It's still a bit cold out to be planting anything outdoors and I think just a bit too early for indoor planting too! But I'll have to get planning soon if I want to have a garden this year. Thanks for the garden tips! I hope you have much abundance this year 💗!LUV !ALIVE !PIMP
