HAVING A GARDEN - LOH 180

Hello, beautiful ladies! Happy new week to us all! Thanks to @kerrislravenhill for this week's topic.

Do you have a garden? Or do you wish you had one? What would you like to grow in your little paradise?

Having a garden in your house as a lady has a lot of benefits that enhance both your physical and mental well-being.

At my parents place, my mom has a small garden at the back of our house. She planted a few vegetables like tomatoes, pumpkin leaves, curry leaves, water leaves, bitter leaves, saint leaves, pepper, and fruits like orange and pawpaw, and that has helped her most times as she constantly has fresh supplies of organic produce for cooking and snacking.

I would also love to have one in my house. Though where I am currently staying, there is not enough space to have a garden, I would want that in the near future, once we get our space, both I and my husband have already made plans to have a garden at our own house and would love to plant everything my mom planted in her garden, including mango, banana, and a little poultry.

I know it's going to help us greatly. It would be easy for us to have access to homegrown fruits and vegetables, and not just that, but having a garden will also give us an opportunity to connect with the natural world. I am very sure this will foster a sense of appreciation and stewardship for the environment.

So I really can't wait for us to have our own space.

THANK YOU FOR READING TO THE END 🤗

It's wonderful that you plan to model after your mother's practice of keeping a garden, and I can see that anticipation of enjoying the other benefits that are beyond convenience or food savings @ozd 🌱
