Caffè Corsini Gran Riserva
Greetings coffee lovers. Hope you've all been well. I've been drinking slightly less coffee from cafes lately and making my own at home. It means my little espresso machine is getting more use these days.
In my quest to get cafe style coffee at home, I've been trying different better quality pods that the ones from the supermarkets. There is one that I quite like and am drinking right now from Caffe Corsini. It's a 100% Arabica coffee roasted in Northern Italy. It's apparently a "single source" coffee but I can't quite see where the beans are from. I suspect they're from South America, probably Colombia.
The one downside of these pods is that they're made of plastic, which isn't great for the environment. I'm collecting them for the recycling place at the supermarket, but I much prefer the aluminium ones that I can I can clean up and recycle myself.
As mentioned in the video above, the taste is intense, as promised on the pack, so it may not be for every one. I'm a big fan of dark, strong and bitter, so I quite like it a lot.
My next brand to try will be the Grind range. I like that their pods are recyclable, though they're a little more expensive.
Peace & Love,
Adé
